Learning Resource Centre celebrated "Librarian’s Day" and organized "Book Exhibition" on 12th and 13th August, 2015 to commemorate the 123rd Birth Anniversary of Dr. S. R. Ranganathan, Father of Indian Library Science.
Dr. Seema Somani, Library Committee In-Charge was the Chief Guest of this function. She inaugurated and highlighted that book exhibition activity will help students to know about new titles and authors and it gives an opportunity to participate in college library collection development.
The Book Exhibition was organized by Librarian Mr. Sanjay B. Munavalli and Library Staff. More than 2000 titles displayed by Readers World, Mumbai in this book exhibition and around 1000 visitors participated. All students and staff of MES institutions have taken advantage of this mega event.
Zotero: The Research Tool For Reference Management
The Library Committee has organized One Day Workshop on “Zotero: The Research Tool For Reference Management” for PCACS faculty members on 3rd January, 2015 at Computer Lab-III. The resource person Mr. Sanjay B. Munavalli, Librarian, PCACS has highlighted the importance of referencing in research work and different types style manuals. The workshop gives hands-on experience to faculty members how to utilize the Zotero open source bibliographic management software. More than 50 faculty members participated.

1. To provide General Information About Library Resources & Services available for students.
2. How to issue books and other resources.
3. How to conduct Simple & Advance Search to access Web-OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue).
4. Library website and open access resources available to them.
5. How to access UGC N-LIST database to make use of E-books & E-journals.

5. How to access E-books & E-jouranls and other resources available through UGC N-LIST Database.
MES Library App is published and available at Android play store from 16th December, 2016.
Students and Staff of MES can login in the app by using their MES email ID or Staff / Student ID (i.e barcode number which is displayed on their ID card).
MES Library App provides following functionality:
User can get details about book issued on their ID.
User can check which books are due tomorrow.
User can get details about existing fine on the book issued.
User can see their fine paid details timeline.
